Program hours are from 2:40 p.m. (school dismissal) until 6:00 p.m. Activities are in session from 3:30-5:00 p.m. Children may be picked up anytime from 5:00-6:00 p.m.

Drop-In Coverage

Emergency drop-in coverage is available to current registered Afterschool families on a space-available basis. The drop-in fee is $50 per day, payable at pickup or via your Active account. Choice of activity is at the discretion of the Afterschool program. Advance notice must be given via email to 87 Afterschool ONLY. It is the family’s responsibility to send written notice to the child’s teacher that the child is going to Afterschool that day.

FSA/Dependent Care

87 Afterschool program tuition and fees may be an eligible expense through your dependent care spending program.

​

Reduced Tuition

A limited number of reduced-rate tuition scholarship subsidy is offered to PS 87 students based on family income.

Parents are responsible for verifying eligibility in advance of registration. 

Full week programming is not guaranteed and may not be available.

To apply for Reduced Tuition, please print and fill out the application form and bring required

documentation to the Afterschool office. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

If you are granted reduced tuition, you will receive a coupon code to use during registration. It is your responsibility to register your child for the afterschool program.

Matrícula reducida​

Se ofrece una cantidad limitada de subsidios para matrículas con tarifa reducida a los estudiantes de PS 87 según el ingreso familiar. Los padres son responsables de verificar la elegibilidad antes de la inscripción.
